The State of Louisiana requires that you MUST possess a current license issued by the Louisiana State Board of Massage Therapists in order to perform the duties of a massage therapist. To get this license, you must follow the regulations required by the LSBMT, which includes taking certain courses certified by the state board along with other criteria.
